IHBC’s latest membership ELetter update now online – ‘Looking ahead: Something old… but much more new’

The new IHBC membership ELetter, from end-September 2019, has been posted online, offering members updates on recent meetings of – and reports to – IHBC trustees.

The recent issue, No 35, covers the period from our highly successful Nottingham School – and attendant AGM, where plans for our new constitution were agreed – to our most recent Board meeting, in mid-September.  Trustees then noted and supported a plethora of developments, all building on a long legacy of planning under our current Corporate Plan, CP20, including:

  • New officers and faces
  • New President
  • New consultants: Professional Development (PD) support
  • New training pilot: nationally led, locally delivered
  • New volunteers
  • New Constitution
  • New (draft) Corporate Plan: ‘CP25’
  • New IHBC charity fund: The ‘IHBC’s CREATIVE Conservation Fund’
  • New… APPG!
  • And other updates including on new and newly accredited members

Advice on ‘getting involved’ and ‘IHBC Volunteering & Governance’, in the form of a cover note from our Chair David McDonald, conclude the issue.
