HE Local Authority Strategic Framework Consultation Survey, closing 3 Feb

logoHistoric England has begun work on a Local Authority Strategic Framework (LASF), setting out priorities for engagement with local authorities  and is seeking feedback on the emerging framework though a survey of representives of local authorities.

Guy Robinson, Policy Adviser, National Strategy and Listing, Historic England, writes:

I write to convey the news to IHBC that work has begun to prepare a strategic framework for Historic England’s engagement with local authorities beyond site-specific casework, to guide that engagement and take account of the organisation’s new structure. Not only will the framework support the prioritisation of Historic England resources, it will also help local authorities to understand what we do, why and how.

Public engagement has begun to inform publication of the strategic framework in the Spring, beginning with a Survey Monkey consultation on draft objectives, outputs and outcomes…

The closing date for the consultation is 3rd February.
