IHBC’s 2020 AGM postponed: Provisionally re-scheduled to December 3, London, tied to IHBC’s Council+ plans

peopleWith the postponement of the IHBC’s 2020 Annual School planned for Brighton, the AGM also is postponed, with plans currently – and subject to COVID-19 impacts – for  the AGM to  take place on December, linked to an exisiting booking for our next planned Council+ , on 3 December at  the Art Workers Guild.

IHBC President Mike Brown and Chair David McDonald said: ‘We are very sad to have to accept the postponement of the AGM, not least as the board and officers had planned such an exciting  programme of content, covering new governance, updated corporate planning, innovative charitable programming, and more.  However having extra time for discussion is always useful, and we’re going to use it well – if often virtually!’

IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly said: ‘The later stage of plans for consultations had already been disrupted  by the early stages of the pandemic, but the IHBC’s National Office will re-engage with those as soon as the plans for re-casting our Brighton 2020 School conference  as the 2020 ‘Virtual School’ are concluded.’

‘In the interim, members – and any interested in our  work – are encouraged to keep up to date with progress across all our by making sure you are signed up to our NewsBlogs.’

‘Dates for trustee nominations also will be extended till later in the year, and advertised when we have more certainty on the new arrangements for the 2020 AGM’.
