IHBC’s COVID-19 signpost 26: Update from the Welsh Government & Cadw

The heritage Legislation and Policy Team in the Welsh Government has issued its  most recent update on delevopments there, including on issues relating to COVID-19.

The Welsh Government writes:

Visit the Cadw website for information on possible sources of financial support for the historic environment sector during the COVID-19 crisis.

Links from the Cadw homepage also provide information on Cadw’s services during the pandemic and useful advice and guidance on matters ranging from vacant buildings to heritage crime.

Managing the Marine Historic Environment of Wales has now been published and is available for download from the Cadw website.

In 2019 and early 2020, Cadw presented a programme of four training events on listed building enforcement for local planning authority officers. Several pdfs summarising the materials presented in the sessions are now available on the Cadw website.
