Heritage Funding Directory Revitalised!

graphicThe Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) the Heritage Alliance (THA) have announced the launch of a revitalised Heritage Funding Directory.

The AHF writes:

The Heritage Funding Directory is a free, easy-to-use guide to financial and other support for anyone undertaking UK-related heritage projects. The Directory now lists nearly 500 entries, which cover historic buildings, landscapes, parks and gardens, churchyards and cemeteries, industrial heritage, archives, historic churches, museums, archaeology, environmental, heritage skills and conservation and more.

Thanks to support from the Historic Houses Foundation, the directory has now been re-housed on a more accessible and user-friendly website. The new website features:

–        Guidance on how to apply for funding for a range of heritage projects

–        Case studies from successfully funded projects and updated funding guidance have been provided some inspiration and insights for your own funding to assist those who are looking for funding.

–        The International Heritage Funding Directory – listing over 100 sources of funding for heritage organisations that are working internationally

–        A new form to allow funders to more easily amend existing funds and list new funds on the directory
