Nominate a heritage charity to receive a festive financial boost

Ecclesiastical Insurance is giving £120,000 to good causes as part of its annual 12 days of giving Christmas campaign and is inviting people to nominate a registered charity close to their hearts to benefit from this festive financial boost.

Ecclesiastical writes:

Charitable giving is at the heart of what we do – and has been for over 130 years. Today, we are a financial services group that exists to give its profits to charity.

We’re proud to be giving back to the communities we serve and championing the issues that really matter to them, especially in this time of need – working together to build a movement for good.

Our 12 days of giving

We know how important it is to support the most vulnerable in our society so once again our 12 days of giving will provide vital support to remarkable organisations right across the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. We know from previous winners what a huge difference £1,000 can make.

“Every day 6,000 people become carers in the UK. Many don’t know how or where to get help. It can be frightening and very lonely. For some it’s sudden: someone you love is taken ill or has an accident, your child is born with a disability. For others, caring creeps up unnoticed: your parents can’t manage on their own any longer, your partner’s health gets gradually worse.

Caring will affect all of us at some point in our lives and the £1,000 donation from Ecclesiastical will help Carers UK to be there for when that happens”

Carers UK – 12 days of giving winner, 2019

The draw is open to UK, Irish, Channel Islands and Isle of Man registered charities, not-for-profit organisations and community interest companies. We will draw 10 winners at random each weekday and nominations will remain open until midnight the day before each draw. Draws will take place each weekday from 7 – 22 December 2020.
