WeCanAccess Student Challenge: Enhance accessibility in 1000 words, by 1 March

WeCanAccess is calling on students to devise suggestions on how to make their own subject area or future profession more accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities; who are neurodiverse or have other access needs, in an essay competition with a closing date of 1 March.

WeCanAccess writes:

WeCanAccess has teamed up with Disability Review Magazine to challenge university students to write articles that will inspire better inclusion and accessibility.

The winning article and author will be featured in Disability Review Magazine Winter 2021!

All shortlisted articles will be published here on the WeCanAccess Blog space.

How to Enter

In no more than 1000 words tell us:
a. how accessibility and inclusion could be embedded into your subject area at university, OR
b. how accessibility and inclusion could be embedded into your future careers, OR
c. examples of inclusive best practice that you have experienced at university.

Elizabeth Wright – Disability and Inclusion Expert, Triple Paralympic Medalist, International Keynote Speaker and Editor of Disability Review Magazine.
