IHBC Chair’s ‘March General Meeting’ update, in detail, and confirmation of Special Resolution on ‘virtual’ GMs

With the conclusion of the first General Meeting (GM) under its new constitution, on 26 March 2021, which saw overwhelming support for our first ‘Special Resolution’ under the new arrangements alongside firm encouragement for members to engage with the newly modernised IHBC.

… near unanimous support for the General Meeting Resolution…

The meeting, which adopted the Special Resolution clarifying the institute’s capacity to hold entirely ‘virtual’ General Meetings (GMs), was chaired by IHBC Chair David McDonald, who said: ‘ The near unanimous support for the General Meeting Resolution, is reassuring and will allow the IHBC to continue its modernisation agenda.’

‘I’m happy to share an updated version of my report for attendees at the meeting and those who were unable to join the event. I found the meetings both informative and stimulating in terms of member feedback’.
