The IHBC has welcomed the high profile congratulations offered by one of Scotland’s lead practices – Page\Park – on the conservation accreditation by the IHBC of staff member Natalia Burakowska.
…a graduate of IHBC Recognised Course at the University of Strathclyde…
…and delegate on our application support MATE sessions…
IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly said: ‘This celebration is of course welcome, and the congratulations well deserved.’
‘As a graduate of the IHBC Recognised Course at the University of Strathclyde and a delegate on our application support MATE sessions now led by Ramona Usher, Natalia has clearly focussed carefully on her career path, where the IHBC has played a crucial role.’
‘It’s worth noting too that she is a graduate same course as the 2018 Annual Gus Astley Student Award Estefania Macchi.
… Natalia’s success, following the lengthy and intensive accreditation process, is well deserved…
Page\Park writes:
Congratulations to our colleague Natalia Burakowska, who last week became a Full Member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC), one of the UK’s leading conservation bodies.
Natalia’s success, following the lengthy and intensive accreditation process, is well deserved and reflects her dedication to conservation of our built environment. She is a leading member of our Heritage and Conservation group, and undertakes a principle role as the practice’s lead researcher and conservation adviser. Natalia joined Page\Park in 2013, after studying Preservation of Cultural Heritage at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland.
Since then, she has attained her Masters degree in Architectural Design for the Conservation of Built Heritage at The University of Strathclyde, and elevated Page\Park’s conservation work with her meticulous approach to researching, recording, and establishing appropriate methodologies.
Congratulations Natalia!
Natalia thanks the IHBC MATE team
