Parliament’s Restoration and Renewal Team writes:

There are only 6 days left to join the conversation and have your say on how you would like to see the Palace of Westminster restored and renewed.

Below is just one of the interesting and thoughtful suggestions we’ve had:

‘It would be brilliant if the restoration was able to offer apprenticeships for young people from across the country – finding ways to offer them appropriate accommodation and supervision in or near London during their stay.

Older tradespeople will have experience in relocating for jobs, but I imagine it would be daunting for a young person to make such a move themselves, so giving them the opportunity to do so in a safe environment on such a prestigious project could be a truly wonderful opportunity.’

With time running out to submit your ideas, we want to make sure you’ve had your say on what’s important to you. Click here to add your idea or to have a look at some of the other ideas that have been posted.

We look forward to hearing your ideas and seeing what you think of some of the other suggestions that have come in….
