IHBC’s new CPD Circular now out: Accessible cross-sector support, from Branch events & AGMs to COP26 hosting and craft opportunities

The new issue of the IHBC’s regular and free CPD Circular is out, with accessible information on learning opportunities and Continuing Professional Development (CPD), from CPD-linked virtual volunteering on our IHBC@COP26 #IHBCHelpdesk to funded craft training in London.

The IHBC is looking forward to the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference, COP26, where we will host the virtual Built and Historic Environment Conservation Helpdesk+ running for the duration of the conference (31 Oct – 12 Nov).  Volunteers (for CPD hours) are sought as we deliver the message that Conserving our Places Conserves our Planet from our IHBC@COP26 #IHBCHelpdesk.

The national office is also producing a topical podcast which seeks to raise awareness and understanding of how building conservation philosophy and practice contributes towards meeting the challenge of climate change.  Episodes will be released over the course of the conference and feature a mix of sector personalities as we look to engage a broad audience.  Sign up here to receive further information and to be alerted to new episodes as they’re released.
