Register for UK Heritage Pulse, ‘a data and insight project for the heritage sector’

Registration is open to Heritage Pulse, a collaborative data and insight project for the UK’s heritage sector, informing strategy, recovery and reinvention post-Covid.

… open to anyone that manages or supports any type of heritage in the UK…

The Heritage Fund writes:

Help us shape the future of heritage funding and strategy.

We’re building a new research panel to share views and knowledge, and to influence the strategy of The National Lottery Heritage Fund and its partners.

UK Heritage Pulse is a collaborative project for the UK’s heritage sector that will host a broad and inclusive panel of thousands.

The information shared through UK Heritage Pulse will help to shape strategy and funding priorities. In return, you’ll receive actionable insights that you can put to use in your organisation.

“We want all of our work at the Heritage Fund to be grounded in the views and experience of people working in heritage.”

Tom Walters, Head of Research, Data and Insight, Heritage Fund

UK Heritage Pulse is open to anyone that manages or supports any type of heritage in the UK.

We’ll be asking you about the subjects that are most relevant and pressing to the sector, and using the findings to drive recovery and reinvention post-COVID-19. Initial subjects are likely to include:

  • organisational resilience
  • financial health
  • public engagement
  • COVID-19 secure experience
  • diversity and inclusion

Your feedback will influence decision making at The Heritage Fund, at UK Heritage Pulse partners Historic England, as well as collaborators including the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, the Department for Communities in Northern Ireland and Wildlife and Countryside Link.

“We know that responding to one-off surveys can become a burden. UK Heritage Pulse is a new resource that will cut the time it takes to tell us your views and allow you to plan ahead for the topics you want to participate in.”

Tom Walters, Head of Research, Data and Insight, Heritage Fund

You can read our Frequently Asked Questions to find out more. Our first survey will open in early 2022.
