REMINDER: IHBC Wales Branch virtual AGM with free CPD – ‘Conservation updates: IHBC and Cadw’, 11/05

3.30pm: Updates 1

Welcome and introduction by David McDonald IHBC, IHBC Chair
David will update members on the IHBC’s recent activities, operations and plans, including Annual Schools in Aberdeen and Wales (Swansea, 2023), IHBC@COP26, Branch support and IHBC25 which marks the IHBC’s 25th anniversary: #IHBC25.

3.40pm Jill Fairweather IHBC, Cadw, Historic Environment Skills Manager
Jill will outline and take questions on the Consolidation Bill, and the new Cadw guidance on How to Improve Energy Efficiency in Historic Buildings in Wales and Heritage Partnership Agreements in Wales.

4.00pm: Wales Branch AGM (online via Zoom)

After the AGM there will be a chance for informal Q&A with the new Branch committee, the IHBC Chair, IHBC National Office staff – including Seán O’Reilly and Fiona Newton – and IHBC’s Branch Support Officer Jude Wheeler who has been leading on supporting the establishment of the new Branch committee as part of the IHBC’s pandemic recovery programme.
