Heritage Trust Network launches new ‘Youth Forum’

The Heritage Trust Network (HTN) Youth Forum has been launched for people aged between 18 and 30 who are interested in heritage, who want their voice to be heard in the heritage sector, and who want to help heritage organisations.

What’s this all about?

Are you aged 18-30 and interested in heritage?

Do you want your voice to be heard in the heritage sector?

Do you want to help community heritage organisations in your area?

Do you want to help shape a brand new Network youth forum?

  • Who we are looking for: We are looking for young people aged 18-30 who are interested in the rescue, restoration and management of historic buildings, structures and places who want their voice heard in the heritage sector
  • What do we need you to do: Help us shape this new Youth Forum; Create recommendations and advice to help our members involve young people in heritage in a democratic way; Co-design, lead and take part in online and in-person events; Create online content including social media posts, blogs or vlogs
  • What is in it for me? Experience volunteering for a well-respected UK-wide heritage organisation; Valuable experience of co-designing events and taking part in volunteering activities to add to your CV; Opportunities to network with your local heritage organisations and groups
