The Victorian Society writes:

…In addition to being a social and architectural historian of the first rank, Mark had a hand in the formation of the Victorian Society, and was present at the meeting on 25th February 1958 at Linley Sambourne House at which the Society was formally established.

The Trustees of the Victorian Society are immensely grateful to Mark for everthing he has done for the Society and extend their sympathy and condolences to his family.
