POSTPONEMENT OF IHBC’s North West Branch Conference 2022: Adapting to Climate Change: Heritage and its Sustainable Future

The IHBC’s North West Branch regrets that its ever popular annual conference, this year looking at climate change and sustainability, has had to be postponed. Due to be held on 5th October 2022 at Chester Cathedral arrangements are underway for a new date – watch out for updates on the NewsBlogs.

‘…we are currently in the process of re-arranging what promises to be a very stimulating and popular event…’

The IHBC North West Branch writes:

In view of the extensive national rail strikes planned on 5th October, it is with great regret that the North West Branch has postponed its 2022 Conference, ‘Adapting to Climate Change’, which was due to be held at Chester Cathedral on that day.

Given the inevitable travel difficulties faced by speakers and delegates, an alternative date is being sought.

Branch Chair, Paul Hartley, commented: ‘It’s all very frustrating and we are currently in the process of re-arranging what promises to be a very stimulating and popular event. In the meantime we would like to thank everyone affected for their patience and urge everyone to keep an eye out for further updates’.

All booked delegates will be notified of the postponement and updates by email.

Please note you can still book HERE and will be notified as soon as a new date has been arranged.
