IHBC Chair David McDonald said: ‘I’m delighted to chair the IHBC’s 2023 Annual General Meeting, online on 3 May.  We have had a successful year and the AGM gives members the opportunity to put questions to IHBC officers and staff about what we’ve achieved and challenges for the year ahead, including progress in our investigations about chartership’

‘I would encourage everyone to attend this important online event and, for those able to vote, to submit proxies by 6.00pm on 30 April.’

… this more streamlined and transparent process helps members engage…

IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly said: ‘We’re preparing for an AGM programme better suited to its online format this year, as the links in our most recent AGM notice to members make clear.  Hopefully this more streamlined and transparent process helps members engage more fully with this critical moment in our governance.’

‘We’re also especially delighted to welcome Prof Oriel Prizeman to kick-start the programme by offering some of her own expert thoughts on the same issues that our 2023 School will address – online and in Swansea from June 21-24 – around ‘Sustainability and the Historic Environment’.

…[eligible members] use your proxy form in advance…

‘For now, please do register to attend, or if not possible, send apologies. Either way, if eligible to vote, please be sure to use your proxy form in advance if at all possible, before 6 April.’

‘The easy-fill online ‘Short Proxy’ form is the simplest way to participate in this key moment of our annual governance programme.  It can also be withdrawn if you change your mind.’
