IHBC Scotland’s Branch CPD & Networking event: 28 May

SC Branch CPD 280515On 28 May, in Linlithgow, IHBC’s Scotland Branch will hold an innovative CPD and networking event involving an array of short presentations by members and others on aspects of their work, all of which will offer delegates a unique chance to explore the full breadth of the IHBC ‘Areas of Competence’.

IHBC Scotland Branch will hold a CPD & Networking event on Thursday 28th May at Linlithgow Burgh Halls, from 1.30pm-7.30pm.

This CPD & Networking Event celebrates the diversity of the IHBC Scotland Branch Membership and provides an opportunity for IHBC Members to share experience and knowledge. We have an eclectic mix of speakers and presentations, covering a wide range of topics within the remit of IHBC’s Areas of Professional Competence.

Topics include:

  • Saving a Building at Risk without a Budget
  • Less is More: Design Solutions that add value by taking away from a Heritage Asset
  • A Future for 1930s Schools in the Scottish Borders
  • Non-Traditional Timber Repairs to (the listed) Dunoon Pier
  • Coming Back from Bingo: The Hippodrome Cinema
  • Sacrifice or Salvage?

A packed programme of CPD in the afternoon is followed by a more informal networking evening, with refreshments, wine and nibbles provided.

Places are only £10 for IHBC members (£20 for non-members), which we think you’ll agree is great value for money! Non-members are welcome so please share this with colleagues.
