New destination needed this summer? Check out IHBC Conservation Wiki’s new Home Page – a great destination for your colleagues too

DBW Conservation Wiki The IHBC’s Wiki platform service, offered in partnership with the Designing Buildings Wiki (DBW) web platform, has had an update to make it the destination page for the development and construction sectors that DBW – and the IHBC Conservation Wiki service – target, so check it out and pass it on.

IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly said: ‘The IHBC’s Wiki-based partnership with the Designing Buildings Wiki platform offers our sector a great way to extend our reach into the widest community of construction specialists and development interests, many of whom shape our built and historic environment more than we could ever hope to achieve on our own.’

‘The Wiki’s efficient and simple cross-referencing to other sources ensures that any work posted here is fully integrated into the entire spectrum of its advice and guidance.  Users can simply click on the links to delve as deeply as they want or need into their subject’.

‘The Wiki service is also fully embedded into the world of built and historic environment conservation practice. It garners more than 3 million users a year, 900,000 page views a month, and has 6000 registered users – of which I am one – availing of more than 4500 articles.  And it is still early days!’

‘And remember, as with any Wiki platform, you can add your own content to Conservation Wiki, raising both your specialist profile and sector skills standards at the same time!
