IHBC past Chair Dave Chetwyn argues that sustainable development must be considered not only in terms of efficient building performance, but also in the wider context of place use and planning, as he explores ‘Planning for sustainable historic places’ in IHBC’s current membership journal Context, which takes as its theme ‘conservation and urbanism’.
