IHBC 2018 Belfast School: Homepage, venue and promotional pages launched – promotional opportunities open now; delegate booking opens February

AS2018 promoOpening webpages for the IHBC’s 2018 School in Belfast – on June 21-23 and exploring ‘Our Shared Heritage’ – have been launched, offering an extended Homepage with links to venues and promotional opportunities, to help delegates, users and advertisers plan their School CPD, travel and business.

James Caird, IHBC Chair, said: ‘I’ve been lucky enough to be able to attend the Annual School every year for over a decade. They are a really good way of keeping up-to-date on all the latest in conservation and professional practice as well as an opportunity to keep up with old friends and colleagues and forge new professional networks.’

‘In these days of low resources, this event is increasingly relevant and cost-effective.  Remember too that getting to Belfast is neither especially expensive nor difficult – it has good flight or ferry connections from most parts of the UK.’

IHBC Northern Ireland Branch Chair and lead organizer Andrew McClelland said: ‘The School’s keynote speakers already represent the blend of local and international content that will pervade the programme, and with the new Homepage and links, delegates now have plenty of detail to see specific CPD benefits and make outline their preparations accordingly.’

‘We still have much more to announce for our School content, but already I hope anyone interested in the heritage of places – not least delegates from all across Europe and beyond – will make Belfast a centre for their European Year of Cultural Heritage in 2018.’

IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly said: ‘With web links now available on School venues and promotional opportunities, any businesses can start planning immediately to take advantage of this unique opportunity to reach IHBC members and networks in European Year of Cultural Heritage’.

‘Delegate booking won’t open till February, but there’s also enough available already to help assess specific CPD benefits for this 2018 School.  We’ll be launching our Bursary page on Tuesday too, so prospective applicants can start their planning this weekend!’.
