IHBC Branches: Celebrate your retired members with a nomination to our Marsh Awards

IHBC Marsh Awards websiteIHBC Branches can celebrate retired members who volunteer their time and skills in good causes by nominating them for the IHBC’s ‘Marsh Award for Community Contribution’ before 28 February, with £500 and a Full School place for the winner!

IHBC President David McDonald said: ‘The IHBC Marsh Award for Community Contribution (Retired Member of the IHBC) is offered to celebrate the contribution of a retired IHBC member to the community, such as through BPT involvement, neighbourhood planning, and civic and local trusts with heritage interests.

‘The nomination process is extremely simple, while the winners are recognised with cash awards of £500 and a free full place at the IHBC’s Annual School every June, where we present the awards.’

‘It’s a great way for winners to catch up with colleagues for free, and if the cash is not a priority, it could be donated to another deserving cause, as well as raising its profile.’

He added: ‘So please do consider promoting nominations or, for someone deserving that you know, completing the easy-fill form yourself.

It does take a little effort, but could make all the difference to someone’s life skills or cherished projects.’

Nomination forms must be submitted by February 28th each year.
