IHBC’s signpost to AABC: Call for Lay Assessors for the AABC accreditation programme, to 17/05

The AABC (Register of Architects Accredited in Building Conservation) is seeking volunteer lay assessors who will be responsible for assessing the applications and re-accreditations for the AABC, with interest to be noted by 17 April.

AABC writes:

You will work in a small team alongside two volunteer AABC architects to review an assigned number of applications (up to three times a year).  Assessment is undertaken virtually online, and the AABC is a not-for-profit organisation.

You do not need to be conservation accredited yourself, but experience within the building conservation sector is required. We would be open to anyone with an engineering, structural, planning, legal, heritage, archaeological, or consultant background.

Please register your interest by emailing administrator@aabc-register.co.uk by Monday 17th April 2023.
