A Government consultation on the initial implementation stage of the Convention on the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage will close on 29 February 2024.

The UK is planning to ratify the UNESCO 2003 Convention for Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. We are launching a public consultation on the initial stages of implementation, focusing on the defining and identifying intangible cultural heritage in the UK. The Consultation will close on 29 February 2024.
