… a day of panels, presentations and workshops…

THA writes [summarised]:

Heritage Day is an annual sector conference for heritage leaders, staff and volunteers to hear from decision-makers, gain skills and foster connections. It has been run by the Heritage Alliance for over a decade, and is designed to draw the sector together, stimulate strategic thinking, deliver high level insights, and highlight emerging trends and challenges.

Our theme for 2024 is ‘The Power of Collaboration’. In addition to panels, presentations, and workshops, confirmed keynote speakers include Lord Parkinson (Minister for Heritage) and Lord Neil Mendoza CBE (the new Chair of Historic England).

Keynote speeches from Lord Parkinson (Minister for Arts and Heritage) and Lord Mendoza (Chair of Historic England) will complement a day of panels, presentations and workshops. The winners of the Ecclesiastical Heritage Heroes Awards 2023 will be announced, and an evening drinks reception will celebrate the sector’s achievements.

This year, Heritage Day is taking place on Thursday 7th March (09:00–19:00), as a hybrid event: held in-person at St John’s Church Waterloo (London), and streamed live to virtual delegates.
