The Carbuncle Cup 2024- Raising a toast to the worst new building in Britain: Lime Street Redevelopment, Liverpool
The Fence has found a winner for the Carbuncle Cup, crowning what its says ‘we believe to be the very worst new building in Britain to be opened since 31 August 2018, the last time the award was handed out’, with the ‘winner’ being the Lime Street Redevelopment, Liverpool, Broadway Malyan, 2019.

IHBC’s ‘Heritage from the Global doorstep’: Renewal of Royal Patronage for INTBAU as His Majesty King Charles III continues support for ‘Global Mission’
After an extensive review of Royal Patronages, it was announced that His Majesty King Charles III will retain his role as Patron of the INTBAU Charity, continuing a long and valued association established at its inception in 2001.

The historic cities of York, England, and New York City, USA, celebrated a century as twin cities on May 5, 2024, with a message from His Majesty King Charles III marking the occasion, and dignitaries from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean coming together for an historic ceremony.
