CIfA Conference webpageThe Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) 2017 conference, which takes place in Newcastle on 19-21 April, will include a joint session organised by the Buildings Archaeology Group (BAG) and the IHBC on the built heritage and conflict.

IHBC President David McDonald said: ‘The programme will examine the role of the Buildings Archaeologist and the Conservation Professional in the understanding and conservation of war damaged sites.’

‘If you would like to contribute to the session by presenting a paper, please get in touch with David McDonald, IHBC President, president@ihbc.org.uk by 6 January.

‘And please do remember that at this stage all we are interested in are your initial ideas rather than a fully worked up proposal.’
