IHBC 2018 Belfast School: Bursary web guidance launched –5 Full Residential, and 11 Day School places available for those most in need so plan early – delegate booking opens February

AS2018 bursariesOpening webpages for the IHBC’s 2018 School in Belfast – on June 21-23, exploring ‘Our Shared Heritage’ – have been launched, and now include the Bursaries applications advice page, guiding applicants on how best to shape and make their applications for the 5 Full Residential places  and 11 Day School places on offer by the IHBC’s national body.

IHBC Education Secretary Andrew Shepherd said: ‘It is never too early to sort your plans for the IHBC Annual School, and this is especially important for bursary applicants, as competition for the available funds is strong.’

‘The new homepage shows an exciting programme with inspirational keynote speakers, talks, tours and more, so if you do need the bursary support to get there, start following the web guidance promptly, and with care.  Remember too that our Branches also offer bursary support, and you can find out more from them direct by following the online links.’

IHBC Director Sean O’Reilly said: ‘This year we are offering free places at the School, 16 in all, rather than combining support for places with travel costs, to make application simpler.  However, if you don’t follow the online guidance carefully, your chances of success are slim – both as an applicant and as in practitioner – as financial negotiation is a core skill for many of our members.
