IHBC MATE Event imagesThe next round of the IHBC’s popular and free MATE sessions – our Membership Application Training Events, supporting applications for IHBC accreditation – is under way with plans in place for Belfast (31/05: Online booking open), Glasgow (7/06), booking open), and sessions in the South and North planned ? for later in the year , with details to be confirmed, so be sure to book your place early with Kate at lets@ihbc.org.uk.

Kate Kendall, IHBC LETS Officer and lead on the MATE seminars said: ‘Are you unsure where to start with your application? Do you want to get to grips with the IHBC’s Areas of Competences? Come along to one of the sessions and take the opportunity to speak with other Branch members to seek their advice and guidance on the application process. The session could be just the help and push you need to finally get on with your application and getting those all-important post nominals.’

‘A recent session, in London, was very well received with some positive feedback, one attendee saying they ‘certainly feel more confident and ready to work on [their] application’. That is just what our MATE sessions aim to deliver!’

‘I would also like to take the opportunity to thank the Branch and committee volunteers who help deliver the sessions, as without them they would not be the success that they clearly are!’
