websiteIn advance of Nottingham hosting the IHBC’s 2019 Annual School on 4-6 July,  the East Midlands regional branch is hosting a special free event on ‘Contemporary challenges and solutions for protecting heritage in the East Midlands’, on Tuesday 7 May from 5.30, in the Urban Room, Nottingham, with booking essential.

School Branch lead Justin Webber writes:

‘A range of highly regarded speakers will explore different themes, such as the challenge from climate change and the value provided by Building Preservation Trusts, with a chance for questions and debate to follow. Hosted in Nottingham’s centrally located ‘Urban Room’, attendees will also have the chance to view a new architectural exhibition in the building and to learn more about upcoming events.’

‘This should be a really thought provoking event and a chance to benefit from hearing from some of the leading experts on heritage management, design and planning in the region.’
