The Prince of Wales has urged local authorities to view old buildings as regeneration opportunities and find new uses for them, particularly for residential development.
He told a symposium organised jointly by the Local Government Association and the Prince’s Regeneration Trust: “Many of these places are absolutely ideal for creating residential accommodation, at different levels of income.”
