IHBC’s great ‘FREE CPD’ opportunity: Still chances to join us at Council+, London GII* venue, 28 November, on ‘CPD for interdisciplinary practitioners’ (Expenses paid; numbers restricted)

IHBC Council Plus attendeesApply now by contacting Fiona at operations@ihbc.org.uk to register to find out more about how the IHBC is integrating the CPD across its operations, and help us improve our services to you, in London on 28 November (Expenses paid; numbers restricted), at the Grade II* Art Workers Guild.

IHBC Chair David McDonald said: ‘Our next Council+ event offers delegates oversight, feedback and review opportunities on the content, programme and plans for CPD, building on our previous session, which explored our celebrated Membership Application Training Event (MATE) sessions.  This way we can make sure we are doing the best we possibly can to support our members and the wider sector.’

David Kincaid, IHBC Trustee and Chair of the Membership and Ethics Committee said: ‘CPD is integral to being a member of a professional membership body.  This Council+ event offers a forum in which we can focus on this and hone your future CPD plans and our support planning.’

Even the meeting venue will provide CPD opportunities! The Art Workers Guild is housed in a Grade II* Georgian building while the hall where we meet is an impressive addition of 1914 by Francis W Troup. The buildings adorned with examples of work of the Guilds members from its Arts And Crafts origins to the present day.

To join the CPD conversation and in doing so think about your own CPD, only limited places are available, so be sure to contact your Branch, or email Fiona at operations@ihbc.org.uk to register your interest as soon as possible.
