HE updates on flood recovery advice

Historic England (HE) has issued timely guidance on flood recovery work and drying out.

Alison Henry, Head of the Building Conservation team at Historic England writes:

‘Once the flood water has subsided it’s understandable that owners want to get back to normal as soon as possible, but to dry the walls properly and avoid further damage to the building fabric it’s important to dry buildings slowly.
