… We welcome all our members – old and new – to share a few celebratory (and complimentary!) drinks to mark #IHBC25

The IHBC’s North Branch Acting Chair Oonagh Cranley said: ‘IHBC North Branch is back with renewed energy and enthusiasm. We want to reinvigorate our local network but need members’ engagement to do it.’

‘We are delighted to launch a new programme of great events across the region – starting with our AGM and Members’ Social on Thursday 26 May in Newcastle. We welcome all our members – old and new – to share a few celebratory (and complimentary!) drinks to mark #IHBC25.’

‘Join us for a relaxed evening of drinks, chat, talks and walks where we will reflect on our 25 year history and set out our future plans. We want to know how the Branch can better serve its members so please come along and add to the discussion or get in touch directly. We hope to see you there.’

IHBC North Branch writes:

The AGM and Members’ Social is on Thursday 26 May 5:30 – 8:30pm at The Redhouse, Newcastle Quayside. It will include welcome drinks and snacks, introduction from Sean O’Reilly, IHBC Director, with an update on branch activities and our future plans followed by a short AGM.

Members will then be treated to a choice of walking tours: ‘Do you want to find out more about the quayside’s maritime history? Quiver at its ghostly and grisly tales (not for the faint hearted!) or perhaps wet your whistle on a heritage pub crawl? There is something for everyone.’

The event is free but places on the tours are limited, so please RSVP to confirm your attendance to stewart.ramsdale@btopenworld.com
