IHBC’s all-member invitation: Join IHBC’s next virtual Council for free training on Trustee/Director roles and first new Presidential elections

All categories of IHBC members – Supporters, Affiliates, Associates and Full Members – are invited to join the IHBC’s next free Council for members on 19 October, to include IHBC updates, Trustee (and Director) training for anyone, and our first IHBC Presidential (and Council Chair/Vice Chair) elections.

… addressing the needs of IHBC members…

IHBC’s Council is the IHBC’s inclusive advisory and training body, with training as one of its key roles.  At this next Council, which is virtual, we will introduce attendees to one of the most critical operations in the heritage sector – and in the IHBC – the roles and duties of trustees, and as relevant, company directors.

… practical training for trustees designed specifically to suit the Council’s virtual forum…

The session will feature interactive practical training for trustees designed specifically to suit the Council’s virtual forum – with breakout sessions too – while also addressing the needs of IHBC members, whether as charity trustees, company directors, or as members that work with – or are members of – a charity such as the IHBC.

… proxy voting options will be both available and recommended…

The election of the President and Vice President of IHBC – as Chair and Vice Chair of Council – will also take place on 19 October, with nominations still open but due by 27 September, and details HERE.

Officer voting will take place in person at the Council while pre-meeting proxy voting options will be both available and recommended.
