The IHBC stand at the Natural Stone Show in London offered delegates easy access to career and related practice advice from IHBC officers – Director Seán O’Reilly and Support Officer Carla Pianese – and on behalf of the Institute we would like to say a big ‘Thank you’ to our many visitors and colleagues there, and to Historic England for the opportunity to host our stand.
IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly said: ‘Every time we visit the Stone Show we enjoy meeting colleagues and friends, but we value most the chance to offer advice on practice and careers to people who don’t know the IHBC so well. This year, as ever, that kept us very busy over the Stone Show’s three days.’
‘And this year too plans to grow our links to our IHBC Recognised CPD providers were especially interesting for businesses – national and international – while students and early career practitioners from trade and craft backgrounds were also very keen on the services and support we can offer them. All this bodes very well for the future of the IHBC.’
