‘Dr Zaki Aslan is a highly respected figure in the international heritage sector and brings a unique perspective as the Director of the ICCROM-ATHAR Conservation Centre in Sharjah and as the Regional Representative of ICCROM for the Arab States.’

‘The opportunity to learn from a leading expert on global best practice is a rare one and we are excited by the opportunities to reappraise our understanding of conservation philosophy through the learning points he will bring.’

‘With a special understanding of building conservation in those areas of the Middle East where conflict and other existential threats to heritage assets are currently very real, this promises to be a visually arresting presentation that will provide extensive talking points.’
