logoThe IHBC’s heritage business register HESPR – the Historic Environment Service Providers Recognition scheme – emails members weekly ‘News and Tender Alerts’, with the IHBC Director’s top pick for this week featuring a call from the Department of Archaeology in Durham University for a Community Archaeology Consultant for the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) project ‘Belief in the North East (NE)’, closing 16 August.

The IHBC Director’s pick from our HESPR News and Tender Alert email for this week features a call from the Department of Archaeology, Durham University, for the ‘Belief in the North East’ project, described there as ‘an exciting new community archaeology project being carried out with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund’, an to involve ‘work with members of the public from across the NE of England to explore, research and understand the religious heritage of the region from an archaeological perspective [and] include a series of fieldwork projects, surveys of particularly monument types, as well as training opportunities, workshops and day schools’, and closing 16 August.
