Petition to save Egyptian Halls launched by the Alexander Thompson Society

Egyptian Halls is one of Glasgow’s most important buildings and a category A-listed masterpiece by Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson, but it has been empty for 40 years, so The Alexander Thomson Society has launched a new initiative calling on those ‘with the power to influence this situation… to do all they can to SAVE EGYPTIAN HALLS’.

The Alexander Thompson Society writes:

We believe it must be preserved and brought back into use. We are calling on those with the power to influence this situation – the owners, Glasgow City Council and the Scottish Government – to do all they can to SAVE EGYPTIAN HALLS.

Egyptian Halls has been shortlisted by Europa Nostra for their 7 Most Endangered scheme, signing this petition will help us to demonstrate that there is public interest in this cause.

The Alexander Thomson Society is counting on you.  The Alexander Thomson Society needs your help with ‘Save Egyptian Halls’. Join The Alexander Thomson Society and 3,134 supporters today.
