The latest issue of the IHBC’s membership journal Context is now out, themed around heritage in Ireland and offering learning on the diverse issues faced by heritage on this western edge of Europe, from the evolving role of the (architectural) Conservation Officer (CO), to leadership in the philosophies and actions of care, repair, enhancement and much more.
The new issue, Context No. 163, explores the rich landscape of historic building conservation in Ireland, with a case study in Dublin tenements, historical conservation philosophy, progressive legislative planning and how architecture and conservation practice have been evolving in Ireland.
There are also the usual regular features such as book reviews, reports from the IHBC Chair and Director and much more.
