Action Planning UK writes:

To celebrate its 85th birthday, gas company Calor has increased the value of its Rural Communities Fund to £85,000, which it will divide into 22 prizes.

There will be 11 awards of £5,000, six of £2,500 and five of £1,000. The remainder will be given as £500 prizes to other finalists.

The aim of the fund is to offer rural communities that aren’t connected to the mains gas grid the chance to gain funding for incredible projects that will improve local life.

Projects must be connected with a community organisation or charity in England, Wales or Scotland and not for profit…..
