UKGBC industry survey on market drivers etc. for net zero carbon buildings verification scheme, closing 19/07

A UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) invites industry feedback on market drivers, expectations and characteristics for a potential net zero carbon buildings verification scheme through a survey that closes on 19 July.

… survey to identify what the built environment would like from such a scheme…

UKGBC writes:

UKGBC and fellow industry organisations are exploring potential routes for a net zero carbon buildings verification scheme. This is based on feedback from members and other industry stakeholders that there is a growing market demand. Given this, we have created this market analysis survey to identify what the built environment would like from such a scheme, in terms of scope and operation.

This survey was developed in collaboration with the following industry bodies and initiatives: BBP, CIBSE, IStructE, LETI, RIBA, RICS. Broader stakeholders in the built environment value chain have also been involved in this stage of the NZC verification project, such as BRE and The Carbon Trust and the anonymised results will be shared with them and the wider industry to promote a shared strategy.
