IHBC congratulates members and networks awarded Honours

The IHBC is delighted to offer particular congratulations to IHBC members receiving honours in the most recent awards – Membership Committee member Kate Dickson (Kathleen Elizabeth Maclean, BEM) and Peter Aiers (OBE) – as well as to all recognised in our internal and external networks.

…‘Their honours are richly deserved’…

David McDonald, IHBC Chair said: ‘I’m always pleased to see IHBC Members honoured for their contribution to conservation.  In this case, I happen to know both Members well.’

‘Kate has been a valued member of our Membership and Ethics Committee and a membership assessor for some time, and has also been an active branch member. I’ve been extremely impressed by Peter’s leadership at the Churches Conservation Trust and his contributions to the work of the Heritage Alliance, and I’m sure he will continue to fare well as 34th Master and Chief Executive Officer of The Charterhouse. My best wishes go out to both of them.’

‘Their honours are richly deserved’.
