HESPR’s top pick of the week: Consultant for Stage 2 HLF bid for Mansfield Townscape Heritage Scheme, closing 7 August, valued £70,000

The IHBC’s heritage business listing, HESPR – our Historic Environment Service Providers Recognition scheme – offers members weekly Bulletins that bring tender and other business opportunities together into one handy resource, and the Director’s top pick for NewsBlog readers this week features a call from Bassetlaw DC for a consultant to progress the Stage 2 bid to HLF for the Mansfield Townscape Heritage Scheme, valued at £70,000, and closing 7 August.

IHBC Chair James Caird said: ‘Our weekly Bulletin of current tender notifications to HESPR members is an innovative service that supports commercial conservation businesses that work to the IHBC’s standards and expectations.  These weekly selections offer the wider heritage world a regular insight into the conservation profession that we hope combine good news, sector profile and service inspiration all in one.’

Top tender pick of the week:

The IHBC Director’s pick from the HESPR Bulletin for this week is a call from Bassetlaw District Council for a consultant to progress the Stage 2 bid to HLF for the Mansfield Townscape Heritage Scheme, as they seek: ‘an experienced consultant(s) with knowledge of the heritage sector and grant funding (preferably heritage grants, e.g. Heritage Lottery Fund / Historic England) to build on the work of the Stage 1 bid and progress the Stage 2 bid on behalf of the Council. It is expected that the chosen consultant will work closely with Officers at the Council to ensure that the Stage 2 bid submission reflects the aims of the Council and the requirements of the HLF.  The work is valued at £70,000, and closes 7 August.
