The IHBC has had a ‘CPD Hat-trick‘ of posts supporting conservation-related practice in the 21 July Newsletter of Designing Buildings Wiki (DBW) – the construction industry knowledge base and host platform for the IHBC’s Conservation Wiki – as more than 13000 users could learn about ‘Assessing Moisture’, from our recent Context on ‘War on Damp’; the IHBC NewsBlog post on a ‘CITB survey on Net Zero’, and a book review of ‘Restoration Stories: patina and paint in old London houses’, also from Context.
Other practice-based posts in this issue of the DBW NewsLetter – which is circulated free – included Collaborative refurbishment at the Grade II* Seeley Library, Cambridge; an engineer’s take on ‘Re-evaluating the design life of buildings’, and Scottish Construction Now’s report on the ICE online museum displays Scotland’s civil engineering highlights.
