You may think there are quite a few London Underground stations, and you’d be right as there are 270 stations in total on the network, yet there could have been many many more yet there are so many that never saw the light of day.

Over the years, since the network first started to form, there have been a huge number of new stations and even whole new lines proposed which never actually happened. Reading over some of these, they would have been really useful so it’s actually quite annoying that they never happened! Maybe we can persuade Transport for London to bring them back?
